Meet the Rent busters team. Rent busters ensures all our consultants are experienced and well versed in the building and finance industry. Family values and striving for excellence in the servicing our clients as we help them transitions from renters into home ownership.
Meet Dean, who is a very well-respected building consultant and co-founder and has been involved in construction since 2010. Having worked for himself since 1995, Dean offers more than 20 years of industry experience. Beyond his career path, he balances time at work with his family and being a devoted father. Dean leads projects from inception to delivery with deep understanding and experience, guaranteeing they exceed expectations. He is extremely insightful due to his understanding of regulatory environments and the nuances of design. In the construction sector, Dean is a valuable asset due to his ability to combine knowledge and vision, whether advising on construction intricacies or managing projects.
Introducing Angus, an experienced building consultant who left the legal field in 2012 to enter the construction industry. His journey demonstrates flexibility and a desire to take on new clients and projects. He gained experience navigating the intricate legal environments before venturing into the building industry, which has helped him enhance his construction knowledge and abilities. In addition to his professional endeavours, Angus loves spending time with his young family as often as possible. Combining building knowledge with legal expertise, Angus provides unmatched management advice, making sure every project exhibits not only quality but also a dedication to perfection.
Scott Payne is the co-founder of Rent Busters.
Previously based in Perth, Scott studied Business at Curtin University and has gained over seven years of experience in the building, design and finance industry before the launch of Rent Busters Perth in 2018. Scott has now returned to Bunbury where he was born and raised to expand the brand to the South-West region.
Scott is passionate about the needs and goals of his clients and specialises in finding finance solutions for clients who previously struggled to purchase their own home.
Scott is a keen Soccer player, having worked his way up through the ranks to seniors with the Bayswater City Soccer Club and still loves to have a kick of the ball with his friends in his downtime. When he is not spending time with his family you will find Scott practicing Jiu-Jitsu, riding his motorbikes or working on and restoring classic cars.
Peter spent his early childhood growing up in beach side city of Bunbury and then relocated to Perth to study year 11 & 12. He then went on to further his education and received a Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Australia (Honours in Natural Resource Management). Whilst at University, he gained vital experience while working for a retaining wall & paving company.
In 2012 Peter entered the building and construction industry gaining experience in completions & projection coordination in the mining sector as well as building and finance consultant for the residential builder. Peter has recently successfully completed building his very own abode in an owner builder capacity – demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
Peter has a genuine passion for construction, designing and assisting people on the journey from renting to home ownership. Returning home to the south west of WA to live – due to the love of the south west region and the amazing lifestyle it can offer. In his off time you will find Peter at the beach or in the gym training with mates.
